MARINE COLOR GUARD - A U.S. Marine Corps color guard led off the annual Veterans Day Parade this morning on Main Street. Above, the color guard halts in front of the Butler County Courthouse, prior to the memorial ceremony honoring the nation's war dead. The 45-minute parade was viewed by hundreds of area residents, many carrying umbrellas as protection against the steady rainfall. STUDENTS GIVE THANKSGIVING A CLOSER LOOK - Area students carved to the root of Thanksgiving traditions Wednesday with reenactments of that first holiday of thanks 1621. AFTERNOON DELIGHT - While yesterday's heavy snowfall snarled traffic and slowed all travel, these jubilant Butler area youngsters used a truck inner tube to blast through snowy banks.
