Volunteers pitched in as Greenport hosted a Day of Service on Columbus Day. A project put together by 25 year old Greenport Simone Doroski teams were on hand to spruce up the general area of Greenport including prepping for the ice rink, removal of broken glass and garbage down at the beach and scrubbing away sea weed from the docks. Food and bdrinks were provided by local business and The Home Depot donated the tools for the project to be successful. Music was also played by Danger Dog an orginal band from Westchester.
