RANDEE DADDONA PHOTO Mattituck Jr/Sr High School held their judging of the floats in honor of homecoming on Monday afternoon. Rain postponed Saturday's parade. This year's theme were Countries and winners were as follows 4th place The seniors with Rome, 3rd place Sohomores with Africa, 2nd place the Juniors took on Egypt and having the good fortune of winning were the Freshmens with their theme China. Fortune cookies were also handed out for all attendees. Judges included school principal Shawn Petretti, assistant principal Dave Smith, social studies teacher and student council advisor Sean Morgan, guidence counselor and student council advisor Michelle Fussa and art teacher Dina Rose.

Ms. Walker won 'Best in Show' for her landscape (bottom right) titled "Late Day Downpour' which she took on Manor Road in Riverhead. She has won 'Best in Show twice before in 2004 and 2007. The sow's 103 entries will be on display in the Elizabeth Fox Overton gallery through November13.
